November 21, 2017 11:00

Audrey Rodríguez, University of Colorado Boulder

Audrey Rodríguez is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder focusing on sports broadcasting, social media and communications. Since she was a young girl, she has had a true passion for speaking in front of the camera and talking about anything sports related. During Audrey’s senior year in college, she has been working on the public relations staff with the Denver Broncos, working as a reporter for the CU women’s volleyball team, and covering social media for the CU men’s football team during game days. During her time at CU, Audrey has created, produced, directed, and hosted three shows that air on the social media CU Athletic channels- “This Week In Colorado Volleyball,"  “Off The Court with Audrey Rodríguez” and “The Social Scene with Audrey & Ari.”  No matter the sport, Audrey loves speaking with athletes and getting to know them outside of their sport.

Audrey is beyond grateful to the Radio Television Digital News Foundation and the Prato family for awarding her this scholarship that means the world to her.
