We need writers for RTDNA.org

October 26, 2015 01:30

Sharpen that pencil! RTDNA is seeking contributors to write about journalism topics, to be published on RTDNA.org and our social media platforms.

What are some of the journalism issues you're tackling in your newsroom? Have you found some workflow strategies that work well? How are you leveraging technology to help with newsgathering, production and delivery? What techniques are you trying to help tell a serious investigative story? Or a great feature? If you're a manager, what have you learned that helps you build and maintain a great team? We'd like to share your successes, lessons learned and great ideas with our growing audience.

In particular, we're looking for members (if you aren't one yet, check out the benefits and sign up today!) working in radio, television or digital newsrooms who can offer insights, best practices and practical advice about how they get their job done. Video/audio editors, photographers, producers, EPs, MEs, assignment editors, anchors, reporters, web/social editors, and, dare we say it, news directors are all welcome. We want to hear from people doing the work of journalism, day in and day out.

Take a look at some of our recent pieces from contributors to get an idea of what we're looking for, and drop us a line at news@rtdna.org.
