RTNDA@NAB 2007 Board Elections April 16-18 Frequently Asked Questions Who is running? Chairman-Elect: Ed Esposito, Vice President of Information Media, WAKR WONE WQMX, Akron, OH Director-At-Large (vote for two): Janice S. Gin, Associate News Director, KTVU-TV, Oakland, CA Brian Trauring, News Director, WTVG-TV, Toledo, OH Other individuals may be nominated at the business meeting on April 16 in Las Vegas. Please note that by electing a candidate to serve on the RTNDA Board of Directors, that candidate is also being elected to serve on the RTNDF Board of Trustees. What will the bylaw amendment do? The amendment to the bylaws will combine the RTNDA Canada board position and the International director position. The RTNDA Canada/International director will represent all members outside of the US. The bylaw amendment was approved by the RTNDA board and is supported by RTNDA Canada. Motion to amend Article XII, Election of Regional and International Directors, by deleting any reference to "International Director," and to amend Article XIII to read: Selection of RTNDA Canada Director. The RTNDA Canada Director shall be selected as determined by RTNDA Canada. The RTNDA Canada Director shall also represent RTNDA International Members. Who is eligible to vote? If you have received this e-mail, you are a voting member. Anyone in the following membership categories is eligible to vote: News Director/Manager (radio and television), News Staff (radio and television), Online and Emerging Media News Professional, New Professional. When can I vote? Voting opens at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time (1:30 p.m. ET) on Monday, April 16, and closes at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (1 p.m. ET) on Wednesday, April 18. Where can I vote? You may cast your ballot on any computer with an Internet connection. If you are coming to RTNDA@NAB in Las Vegas, you can vote at a kiosk in the Hilton Pavilion near the convention registration area. Look for the signs. How will I vote starting April 16?
