-Tells us that #hashtags are ways to organize conversations. She says these are great because you can jump into many conversations just by clicking on a #hashtag link

-Talked a lot about using LiveStream, said that people like to see what's going on from a different angle. By using Livestream you can show viewers what happens during a broadcast.

-Said to cover what you want when you want. Don't have to wait for newsroom approval.

-Started a Ustream called "What's Up Ya'll?". Said it's popular because it's personal and she is consistent. Calls it a nice handshake with the community.

-Said that she shares little slices of life to her viewers.

-Said that little moment of normalcy really works when using social media.

-Calls using social media is great "web extras."
