Gannett Foundation Award for Innovation in Watchdog Journalism
This award recognizes groundbreaking work by a journalist or a staff that creatively used digital tools in the role of being a community's watchdog.
Special consideration is given to journalism that helps a community understand and address important issues.

contest requirement
The 15-minute length and references to YouTube and Vimeo implies this is a video contest.
Is it?
There are many innovative uses of digital media for watchdog journalism other than video.
