These newsrooms achieve diversity through developing news content and editorial staffs that reflect the changing face of their communities. Broadcast -- Tough Ethical Calls (en español) is sponsored by RTNDF and the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation. The session will be lead by Ramon Escobar, senior consultant with Sucherman Consulting Group in New York. Using case studies of actual news stories that present ethical challenges, Escobar will lead an interactive discussion in Spanish to help journalists feel better prepared to face their next tough call. If you are grappling with when to go "live," how to interview juveniles or whether you should edit video/audio, this session will help you sharpen your news judgment skills.
