In an era of increasing mis- and disinformation, newsrooms have struggled to build and maintain trust with their communities. That is especially true with younger news consumers. 

RTDNA built upon its successful research projects with Magid in 2022 and 2023 to examine trust in journalism among younger news consumers in 2025, publishing findings at RTDNA25 in New Orleans in June. 

Pat Maday, vice president at Magid, led a webinar to walk journalists through the findings and help them understand how they can improve trust among the next generation of news consumers.
