A statement from RTDNA President and CEO Dan Shelley:

The Radio Television Digital News Association applauds the House of Representatives for passing — on a unanimous voice vote — the Protect Reporters from Exploitative State Spying (PRESS) Act. If enacted into law, the PRESS Act would allow the public to benefit from journalists' reporting on critical issues without fear of retribution from the federal government.

RTDNA calls on the Senate to follow suit swiftly.
