RTDNA statement on arrests of Don Lemon and Georgia Fort

“The First Amendment is unambiguous: Journalism, and journalists, must be protected as they seek and report the truth. The Department of Justice cannot arrest a journalist simply because they don’t like the journalism. The Radio Television Digital News Association demands all charges against Don Lemon and Georgia Fort be dropped immediately. Further, RTDNA calls on this administration to reevaluate its dangerous rhetoric and actions toward those who seek to inform their communities."
