Why Your ‘Authentic Voice’ Can Make Such A Big Difference On Social Media

Education Resources,

By now we all should understand how social media can help to build your brand. But how much thought are you giving toward the voice you use on social media?

That voice can make a big difference in establishing a strong connection with the communities we cover, said Tracy Davidson, an anchor at NBC10 in Philadelphia.

“I think we probably all say, ‘Whoa, we’re reporters or we’re anchors, of course we have a voice,’” Davidson said. “But the more you can hone in on your authentic voice, the more people are going to relate to you.”

Davidson will conduct a breakout session at RTDNA21 in Denver called “Building Your Brand: Authentic Voice,” where she hopes attendees will learn how best to use their voice to connect with audiences and build their brand in a better way.

This breakout session will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24 at RTDNA21 in Denver.
